WELCOME TO THE ACCEPTANCE

Is there something that has always been bothering you, weighing on your mind? Perhaps you find yourself zoning out too often while studying or working. Perhaps you keep making conversations awkward when socializing. Perhaps you cannot stop yourself from overthinking, until the weight of it becomes too much to bear.

That, is your Flaw.

Everyone carries a Flaw of their own. You are not obligated to suffer for yours.

Now.

Let me Devour this pain of yours.

Let me accept your Flaw into myself.

Features

  • Cute visual novel coupled with a deep but human psychological horror story
  • Immersive original soundtrack tailored to the plot and scenes
  • Simple controls (moving and interacting), but dynamic gameplay content (starting with puzzles, with more on the way!)
  • Designed, written, and created by a small team of humans (does this count as a feature?)
  • You can run a luxurious chocolate store! Who doesn't like chocolate, right? (Not included in the current demo though ;-;)
  • Technically, you could say you are dating the main protagonist (this isn't a dating sim, by the way)
  • Sorry it'd be a spoiler if I keep listing the features orz
  • Oh there's one more thing that I can reveal
  • Y̵̻̘̟̳̩̞̯̘̲̭̮̯͗̋̂̂͆̓̀̍̎̄̈́̇̀͌͝͝ō̷͖̘̽̐u̸̼̺̙̤̳͇̦̠̤̜͓͇̣͎͔͂ͅ ̶̲̙̄͜a̵̡̯̙͖̖̥̥̠̘̗̔̏̐̀̓̈̈͊ͅŗ̶̮̭̜̩̝͚̮̓͐̇ȇ̸̡̟̬̘͍͔̭͕̫̲̝͍̯̓̄͗̈́͌͐̅̂͛̍͂̀͑̊͜͝ ̸͉̍͌̈́͂̃͗͆̍͊̚̚ơ̵̥̾̿̏͠n̵͙̩͈̲̠̥͉̙̱̫̈́̃͊͑͒̒͒̿̎͒̅̈́͒̀́̚ͅe̵̢̨̯̤̯̺͔̳̳͈͗̽̀͑̒̈́ͅ ̸̰̦́̓͗͂̐͐̉̇̌͊͊̓̂͘͝͝o̴̬͇͈̜͐̐̑̑̐̊͑͗̈͠f̶̧̛̤̣̹̩̗̩̥͚͎͈̟̞͕̯̈́́͋̓͛͋̈́̎̿͌̈́̈́̕̕ͅͅ ̴̡̬̟̥̱̟͈̉̿͊̂͋͛̆͝t̵̡̲̟̩̞̘̺̗̖̹̼̲̮̫̽́̂̉ͅh̸͔̦̬̼͖͈͉̎ͅͅȩ̶̨̳̺̹̤̱̞͇̟̫̰͛͗͜ͅ ̷̖͔͆̈́̊̈́̅̆̀̐͘̚č̴͙̲͉̗͚̤̜̫̩͚͊̅͝ͅĥ̸̨̧̛̩̝͉͉̆̆̀͂̊̀̎̈́̈̚a̵̢̹̰͕̅̾̐̔̎́̇͊̒̃̃́̚̚ŗ̴̢̪̱̣̥̯̭̪͍̙̖̓̌̉̓̌̊̈́̽͜͜à̵̡̺̬͕̙̲̑̓̽̌̀̈́̉͘c̴͍͚̋ͅt̴̡̨̛͙̲̤̘̬̒́̎̿e̸̙̩̞̝̭̟̺͇͙̪̙̟̪͚͍̅̆̃̄̀̍̀̿̎̂̈́̍r̵̢͈͕̗̜̼͗̈́̐̈͌̀̿̕͜͝ş̶̛̠̼͚͈͓̲͍͈̭̮̳̦͚̈́̀̈́͐̇͒̈́̅̈́͝͝͠ͅ

The Team

Umbra Circle is a small (and perpetually broke) team of passionate developers. While Devour Me Not is our first title as a studio, everyone on the team brings experience from shipped titles in their past, so we know what it takes to bring a game to life.

Every asset in this game, such as artwork, music, writing, was designed and created by humans. No generative AI was used in production.

If you'd like to support us, any generous contribution goes directly toward bringing Devour Me Not to completion. We genuinely appreciate every bit of help!

Mature Content Description

While this demo does not contain all the content of the full game, the full game will include depictions of depression, anxiety, violence, and suicide, and may not be suitable for all audiences. It also contains bright flashing imagery that may cause discomfort and/or seizures for those with photosensitive epilepsy. Viewer discretion is advised.
